‘King of the Hill’ Seasons are animated sitcom created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels using the voices of Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Segall Adlon, Brittany Murphy, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root and Toby Huss. Its opening theme “Yahoos and Triangles” has been performed by The Refreshments and composed by Roger Neill and John Frizzel. Originally it has been broadcast on Fox channel in 480i (SDTV) and later on, 720p (HDTV) picture format. King of the Hill Season 1 was premiered on 12th January, 1997.
King of the Hill seasons portrays Hill’s middle-class family and their day to day lives in a small typical American Texas town of Arlen. Justice, loyalty, friendship, parent child relationships are the themes touched several times.
Hank Hill is head of the family whose ‘I tell you what!’, “I’m gonna kick your ass!”, ‘ugha’ and ‘Bwah!’ are favorite responses and regarded as his trademarks. He adores his aging dog, Ladybird, more than his family. He excessively shows concern for Dallas cowboys, propane and his lawn. He works as a salesman of “propane and propane accessories” and is assistant manager of Strickland Propane. He has a healthy relationship with his wife, though usually is not comfortable with closeness and sexuality.
Peggy Hill, his wife, considers herself to be very attractive, clever and knowledgeable but many times her misconceptions about herself have led to disgrace. Her egoistic nature tempts her to do works for which she has to repent later on. She works as a notary public, real estate agent and freelancer for newspapers. She’s also employed as a substitute Spanish teacher even though she looses full grasp on it.
Other recurring characters of the show include Bobby Hill, their 13 year old son; Luanne Platter, Peggy’s niece; Dale Gribble, their next door neighbor; Bill Dauterive, Hank’s best friend of high school; and Jeff Boomhauer, a Texas Ranger. Many celebrity guests are also sometimes part of the show.

In America, only Simpsons is ahead of it, and currently, it is the second longest running series but It is longest running series on famous Cartoon Network channel at least. It has been ranked among 100 greatest television shows of all time by Time magazine.
King of the Hill has won two Emmy Awards and has been nominated for seven since its inception. King of the Hill Season 13 ended on 13th September, 2009.
