Season 13
Opening episode of ‘King of the Hill’ season 13 was aired on September 28, 2008 and it was entitled ‘Dia-bill-ic Shock’. In the beginning of the episode we saw that Bill was reluctant to change his sugary eating habits even after he came to know that he had diabetes. Bill, really not in need of, decided to use a wheelchair and befriended with Thunder, a rugby player. Thunder, realizing that he’s a disabled man, taught him how to be independent. But, their friendship faced a trauma after Thunder realized that he’s not handicapped. After only few days, ‘King of the Hill’ season 13 returned with the episode entitled ‘Earthly Girls Are Easy’. In this episode, we saw Strickland Propane in trouble after a local paper slammed the company for dumping old propane tanks into the river. In such kinda situations, it was Hank who was seen helping them. On the other hand, Dane had plans to impress the ladies by organizing an earth benefit concert but all his plans went in vain. Following it was the episode entitled ‘Square-Footed Monster’. Here we saw Hank and other guys doing a good deed as they’re fixing up a neighborhood house. Next, we saw that Dotty Dwyer’s nephew sold the house to Ted Wassonasong. But when they came to know that Ted had plans to knock down the house and build a mansion, they rushed to the City Council to protest against the construction. Next episode was ‘Lost in MySpace’. Hank had not very good feelings about Strickland Propane’s idea to create a MySpace page but they did it in order to boost up the business. Donna, the lady who was given whole responsibility over the stuff, filled up the page with personal information about the employees and it resulted in pandemonium in office. Dale had his own troubles after losing the pig, that was took on rent from someone.
Next episode of season was entitled ‘No Bobby Left Behind’. Bobby was classified as the low achievement student by the school principal. Principal’s plan to raise the average for standardized tests backfired after Bobby was sent in the class where he didn’t need to do any homework or take any test. The sixth episode of season was entitled ‘A Bill Full of Dollars’ in which Peggy, Minh and Dale tried their hands in stock market together. But, they lost money in the deal. In order to improve their odds and to make situation better, they make Bill the subject of their study to learn the consumer habits of an average man. Peggy bought a new flat screen TV for family. Season’s last aired episode was entitled ‘Straight as an Arrow’ and it was aired on November 20, 2008. In this episode, we saw that Bobby had plans to become the member of the Straight Arrow. It made Hank to think over the matter. Luanne and Lucky were seen trying their best to get gifts from people who never gave them anything. Exactly like the previous 12 seasons of “King of the Hill’, it was also a well received one and it once again entertained us with new and unique stories.
Season’s Top Ranked Episode ‘Earthy Girls Are Easy’
A local paper slammed the Strickland Propane company for dumping old propane tanks into the river. Hank decided to help them go green. On the other hand, Dane decided to impress the ladies by organizing an earth benefit concert but all his plans went in vain.
