Season 1
King of the Hill season 1 was debuted on 1-12-1997 and the season opener was entitled ‘Pilot’. The Pilot episode introduces us to Hank Hill, a Propane salesman residing in the town of Arlen, Texas. Series begins with the incident when a baseball hits Bobby in his eye and it results in a black eye. A social worker sees his eye and Hank’s temper and starts thinking that Hank has abused the kid. Hank and Peggy are at Bobby’s school teaching the class about sex. Hank finds it tough to deal with the situation when they try to plan a joke on a student at school.
King of the Hill
Hank worries about the future of Bobby and thinks that the boy has no ambitions in his life. Luanne cries the whole night when her boyfriend breaks up with her. Hank is constipated and everyone tries to help him by offering him various tips to get rid of the situation. Peggy hires Hank Hill as her Boggle coach but gets disappointed when he doesn’t take the things seriously. Booby starts smoking and when Hank catches him, he makes him smoke the whole carton as a punishment. Hank tells Dale not to spray insecticide on his lawn anymore and he releases hundreds of aunts into her garden which spoils everything.
Season comes to an end on May 11, 1997 and the season finale was entitled ‘Plastic White Female‘. On this episode, we do meet a very frustrated Bobby who’s invited to first boy-girl dance.
Season’s Top rated Episode - King of the Aunt Hill
Hank finds out that Dale’s weekly bug-spraying may spoil his lawn so he asks him not to use the insecticides on his lawn. So, a battle between Hank and Dale begins, meanwhile Bobby capture the Queen Fire Ant.
